A Welcome from the President

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you at Alrefak University. The University's mission Since the first day of its establishment, has been to provide its students with good education and knowledge, to broaden their experience, to provide them with the tools that allow them to fully realize their capacity and promise, to nurture an environment that promotes scientific research and scholarly work, and to provide opportunity for leadership and innovation that brings with it responsibility, so as to preserve our national and Arab-Islamic values and ideals. Alrefak University is now considered a remarkable educational institution that has acquired trust, respect, and appreciation locally, regionally and international levels, thanks to the highly distinguished level of its graduates .The University graduates have become outstanding in the labor market. This achievement would not have been possible without the efforts of the dedicated faculty members and administrators who undertook the responsibility assigned to them. Al-Refak University has always demonstrated itself as a leading university in introducing and taking initiatives. The University has committed itself to developing study plans and programs, linking the programs provided to labor market requirements in order to improve the level of graduates and increase competition opportunities. In order to maintain excellence, the University is keen to attract distinguished faculty members and administrators. In order to keep up with academic and scientific changes and to improve the educational outputs, the University introduced an office for quality assurance. The activities of the Office reflected positively on improving the scientific and administrative performance of the University, and promoting the educational outputs of the academic programs at the University. Cooperation, with the local community institutions fall within the first priorities for the University. The University has a civilized and distinct record of development, social and humanitarian events and activities, which were adopted by the components of the University; its students, faculty members and administrators. The University has become a safe environment for students and staff. I wish the success to all the university members.

Responsibilities

• The university president is responsible for implementing the university’s decisions, policies and regulations, as well as managing the university’s scientific, educational and administrative affairs. He is obligated to refer annual reports on the university’s status to the Board of Trustees.

• One of the most important offices that reports directly to the president of the university is the Office of Legal Affairs.

• It is the body responsible for directing the university's activities and decisions in accordance with the provisions of the legislative system.

• In force, where he works on preparing and drafting draft regulations and decisions related to the university in coordination with the relevant competent authorities and expressing legal opinion on them.

• The office is also in charge of preparing and drafting contracts and agreements for the university in various activities, including economic and investment, and providing advice and legal opinion in all aspects of academic and administrative work at the university, and it also works on following up the lawsuits filed by or against the university and preparing the necessary legal notes regarding it.
